Kellie Trevethick

I feel so fortunate to have a career I am so passionate about. It has always been apparent to me what life path I would choose. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to be the owner of Bel Capelli and work with such incredible people. Creating a fun yet professional environment for my staff to create in is a top priority. Providing services to help my clients achieve the look they are searching for is truly rewarding and working at Bel Capelli has given me all the support and tools I need to better serve and educate my clients.

My Story

I began my career working in the beauty industry in 2005 at 17 years old. I received a phone call from a friend asking if I wanted her job as the receptionist at Bel Capelli, I said yes and I started that day. I worked for several years as the front desk coordinator and decided that I did indeed want to go to Cosmetology School. I enrolled in Federico Beauty Institute in Sacramento and received my license in 2007. I then moved to San Francisco and worked at Chakra Aveda in Union Square, and quickly realized that the city was not the place for me. I came back to my home town and began working as a stylist/manager at Bel Capelli. In 2010 I purchased the salon from the current owner Jamie. Over the years I have worked extensively with the Aveda brand and I have recently incorporated Duomo and Redken hair color as well. I am very grateful for my lovely assistant Chelsea Jones who works along side me each day and makes sure my clients are all very well taken care of. I truly love my job as a hairstylist and really enjoy my time spent with my staff and clients at Bel Capelli.
